Brookstone anti-snore pillow is a memory foam pillow that has support for the neck and head and has specially tapered sides to encourage ideal position while sleeping. It is designed to keep the chin up while sleeping for back sleepers to keep the airway open. For side sleepers, its tapered sides can position the head, neck and shoulders in correct alignment to encourage an unobstructed airway. When the airway passages of the sleeper is clear, there is less chance for snoring to occur. And that is what is product is aiming for.

I bought this pillow two nights ago. My wife used to make me switch to sleeping on my side whenever my snoring started up — usually any time I started drifting off while positioned on my back. Side sleeping is uncomfortable for me because I never know where to put my outer arm. I’ve been sleeping in our spare room as often as not, so I bought the pillow.
1. The sales person told me that this was the one pillow they will let you try for 30 days, and it says so on the receipt. When I unpackaged it the sticker said personal item and nonreturnable if plastic bag broken, but I have the word of the sales woman, so maybe they’ve reconsidered this.
2. There is a chemical smell, which is the memory foam. We have a 3″ mattress topper from Costco which is one of the best purchases we’ve made. Transformed our bed into a comfort zone. It had the same chemical smell. After five days it faded, just like the packaging said it would. Have to assume pillow will do the same.
3. The pillow takes some getting used to, but my wife just told me I didn’t snore at all this last night. It’s the first time I’ve fallen asleep on my back while in bed with her. We’ll give it a few more nights, but I feel refreshed, well slept, and my wife is very happy.
So far I’m a believer that the pillow was a good gamble and recommend it heartily.
A complete waste of money. I snored louder, according to my wife, and after four nights I developed a very stiff neck. I should have known better than to waste $100 on this, but I figured that if it actually worked it would be money well spent. It wasn’t.
